Welcome to the American Samoa Technician Education Readiness Pathway Project (ASTERP). The overall project goal, objectives, and lead partners are noted below.

Project Goal

The goal of ASTERP is to provide students with the knowledge and competency skills to be college ready and participate in the American Samoa Community College (ASCC) Technician Education Program and/or pursue a post-secondary education that will lead towards a STEM Technician pathway.

Project Objectives

  1. Improve student knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering, math, and English
  2. Increase the number of students prepared and ready to pursue ASCC Technician Education programs and/or post-secondary education and/or the workforce
  3. Prepare students and teachers for national certification programs
